A Homecoming
As the heat of summer begins, students can’t help but think of the end of classes - and - the end of classes connote graduation! The challenging four years for high school students finally end. They become certified graduates of their alma mater - and - this automatically makes them an alumni. Being an alumni gives them a ticket to attend a once-in-a-decade joyful event... HOMECOMING!
Every year alumni from different batches, together with the faculty, school staff and other students, come together in unity to commemorate and give honor to its alma mater, the QUEZON CITY HIGH SCHOOL. QUEZON CITY HIGH SCHOOL is more than just a school. For us QCHS BATCH '80 graduates, it is a family and a home. And for us, this homecoming is what it really is -- coming home. Graduates have gone on to live and work all over the city, the country, the world. Now is a time for us to be reunited with long lost friends. Now is the time for us to go back to our roots. QCHS BATCH '80 invites you to come and join us on the 9th day of April at 3:30 pm at the school campus. As Silver Jubilarians for this year's grand alumni homecoming, we request your presence as we celebrate that good old high school spirit. We have lined up a good variety of events that will highlight the celebration. To start the day right, a mass will be celebrated in the morning, a motorcade will follow and we promise it's going to be a big hit. A festive celebration will be the day's main event. An official from goverment will be our keynote speaker. Special numbers, as well as surprises, are in store for all. The BATCH '80 family hopes to see you and join this occasion.
